08 Dodge Avenger 4 Cyl Automatic brake light on dash intermittently come on whenever you come to a stop. For instance, when you come to stop at a traffic light the brake warning light will appear and after a few seconds it will go off.
Mine does that too, somtimes im parked on as angle and it comes on. Sometimes i am driving down the highway and the light comes on. If you find out why let me know
This usually indicates that your fluid is at least on the low side. As a result, simply adding a little will get it go off. The reason for this (most likely) is that it has gotten low as a result of wear. I'd check the pad wear to see if a brake job is in order or soon will be. If too much fluid is in the reservoir, and a brake job is done, it will spill over and damage any painted item below the reservior bubbling the paint.......at a minimum. Brake fluid is some tough stuff.
