I have no gas coming from my injector it a 1986 chevy s10 2.5l I have replaced the fuel pump, oil pressure switch & I checked and oil would ...
Check your fuel pressure. This will tell you if you are getting enough fuel. If you are not getting the proper pressure either your fuel filter is clogged or your fuel pump is failing and needs to be replaced.
We are assuming that you are talking about 1986 Chevrolet Truck G20 3/4
ton Van 5.0L 4BL OHV 8cyl... The
Fuel Filter is located under engine cover, center, upper engine area, rear
of alternator, mounted in fuel line.
thanks for the accurate description....makes it easier to diagnose . One of two things it is....either a fuel pump OVER-working....highly unlikely...or your fuel pressure regulator.......sounds like you pressure reg tho with what you described......located on top of the motor on the fuel rail...
Just because the fuel pump is on does not mean it is delivering the proper pressure. Some systems need as much as 35 psi to function properly. I would look there. I am assuming that you have checked the pressure as you had mentioned that the "Injectors have a lack of pressure" in your statement. Some of the old chevys used to use a "Sock" type filter on the pick up tube in the fuel tank. A possibility? Could be partially clogged. Good Luck
