The most likely problem is the blower motor resistor. It is on the passengers side under the dash next to the blower motor.Make sure and check the connectors. They get hot and melt. You will need to replace the resistor module and possibly the connectors.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Warm air in cab but not getting the required heat . thermostat is good , core is new . but no inside heat

squirrel cage (from what i understand is the name) could be bad. its essentially the fan type blade looks kind of like a hamster wheel could have stopped rotating and isnt blowing the air into the cab. also could be your water pump. if the blade on the pump is bad then it could be circulating enough water to keep the truck cool but not enough pressure to send it to the heater core to generate the heat needed.

Fan works but it blows low heat

there is a cab air filter located under your hood, pass. side under the wiper area, but this should not be the problem if your loosing coolant, check your heater core, if your fan only works on low. check your blower resistor you can pick em up new for around 20 bucks. hope this helps and god bless.

Heater blows air for abit then stops but can still here fan trying to blowair. When this happens air conditioning lines are frosted over.

Hello. I can assist you. The component that is failing you is the heater relay. You can change this yourself. Look in the manual for the fuse panel and in that diagram you will see the relay. Pull out the old one and replace it with a new one that is exactly the same, available at most any auto parts shop.

A/C and Heater will not blow air..

Blower motor resistor is most common ($20-$70) it controls the blower motor fan and speeds or fan relay fuse (usually under the hood) If it's not either then the blower itself is bad. You can pull the motor and apply 12volts to it to test, if it spins then the resistor.

I have a 2006 silverado, the fan to the cab won't blow air.

Check the connector to the blower resistor, they tend to burn and destroy the resistor and the connector. Its located near the blower motor on the passenger side footwell.
