I have a hard time starting my 04 Santa Fe after i fill up

I have a 04 Santa Fe with 77000 miles the car is at the dealer ship every 3000 miles for oilchanges and check up.Three months ago after i filled up the car with gas i had a hard time getting the car started it took 3 to 4 try's ,this happend 3 more times.I took the car in to the dealer ship and they had the car for one day and could not find anything wrong and i was told don't repeat this problem.
Since than i have tryed leaving the car run while filling the tank as soon as i start to pump the fuel the engine starts shaking (missing) and the engine stops, and it takes 3 to 4 try's to get the car started ones the car starts it is fine until the next time i need fuel.

I'd have to suspect the evap system? After a fill-up, the fumes in the gas tank are heavily concentrated. If allowed into system, can cause problems.

The most common cause of this is thermal shock (gasoline is very cold out of the ground) to the electric fuel pump inside the fuel tank, when the pumps get worn the decrease in temperature from the gasoline causes the pump to stick. This is a question I see fairly often, so I did research to see what the common cause is. Next time this happens have the fuel pressure checked.

SOURCE: 2001 hyundai santa fe hard to start engine after filling gas tank

not sure it should happen that fast but it may.... buy yourself a couple bottles of gas line antifreeze and put them in the gas tank... sounds like you have a lil water problem ... this stuff is basically alcohol (not the kind you drink) and it will suck up the water.

SOURCE: wont start

This a possible solution. My 2004 just killed on the way to work 3 weeks ago. It would turn over, but would not start. When my mechanic looked at it, I told him I thought it was the fuel pump, because that is how it seem to be acting. As if the pump was not sending fuel. Turns out it was a sensor behind the timing chain. The Cam Shaft sensor. Once that goes I guess it cuts the fuel. Hyundi's have a maintance schedule where you need to replace the timing chain at 40,000. It was the slack in the belt that caused the sensor to go. I had the two belts the the cam shaft sensor and one other sensor in that same place replaced and now it runs like a top. I hope that helps. And I hope that is not your problem. Parts were pretty cheap. But with labor it cost $900.

I have a hard time starting my 04 Santa Fe after i fill up

it was running then you removed the gas cap to fill ( extremely dangerous practice with car running)
that indicates that there is a problem with the EVAP system.
run the fault codes ( what the dealers should have done first ) and check for the EVAP codes , purge vent or solenoid problems
