Your serpentine belt is under pressure from a tensioner It can be overpowered with a straight tool that won't bend e.g. FLAT screwdriver. Be SURE not to cut or damage the belt. reverse proceedure to replace the belt. The tensioner has about 15 lbs of tension. In other words it is stiff, but not immovable.
