Turned my Pontiac 2001 Aztec on and all lights started blinking. It released the trunk, and even blew the horn without touching it. The "security" light and "service engine soon" comes on. The car has done that several times already. The radio is in a "locked" position, and sometimes is says "calibrating". Drove home with the needles on the dials fluctuating wildly.

The blinking of all dashboard lights also has happened before while driving. Not just by starting the car.

My car was running fine. I turned it off and now it won't start and my keyless remote or trunk opener or nothing works. The horn won't even honk. Is this something to do with the anti theft...

Might possibly be. Pontiacs were really tied into that anti theft security system. They were notorious for breaking. Here is a link to a site about these SECURITY systems. And possible DO IT YOURSELF solutions. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

2001 pontiac aztec replaced spark plugs then fuel filter old filter was full of dirty gas car started right away then took it for test run tried raising rpm and bogged out then service engine light started...

We stopped guessing back in the 90's when car makers started using trouble codes. So should you. Blinking check engine light means you have a serious misfire. So doubtful that it's an electrical problem. Get the codes read and post them. That's the starting point. We stopped guessing back in the 90's when car makers started using trouble codes

How do i disable the security?

This is crazy but it works. When the security light is blinking and the motor will not start. The car thinks it is being stolen. Turn your key to the on position for 10 minutes without trying to start the car. Do nothing untill the security light stops blinking it will stop at the 10 minute mark. Then turn the key off for 5 seconds ,on for 5 seconds off for 5 seconds ,Then like magic start your car. When this stops working you have to replace the key module. Hope this helps.
