How do you reprogram a key fob for a hyundai coupe. breakdown fixed it for me in less than a minute last week. the guy did something whilst sitting in the drivers seat. it has happened to me again this week and my breakdown service wont come back out as its the same fault as before. There must be a simple way to do it but cant seem to figure it out. please help.
This came directly from my Hyundia service guy:
Unlock the car, get in and close all doors. Turn the ignition key to ACC, press the Unlock button till blinkers flash. That's it. Get out of the car and see if it works.
Good luck.
Unlock the car with the key then press/hold the lock button on the remote for 30 secs.or lock the car with the key and press/hold unlock button for 30 secs, both should work....
Testimonial: "Yes. followed ur advice, but after 30 secs of pressing the lock button, had to then symultaniously press the alarm button. this worked! thanks"
If above procedure fails to work or you are adding a new keythen you can also try visiting your local locksmith who has SBB device and get it programmedsee this link: Hyundai Remote Matching

I have literally just done this...
Open the car with the key, and set the alarm off.
Close the doors.
Insert the key in to the ignition and press Lock.
Remove the key from the ignition and press Lock again.
Press Unlock.
Tried and tested!
Answer 1 worked fantastic! I'm wondering how many people have actually paid good money to have this issue rectified!
