My driver side windows and locks don't work motor has been replaced my husband thinks its one of the fuses or relay but needs a diagram

The fuse box diagram above says you have a drivers side relay and passenger side relay. If that is correct you might try change the two relay. If the passenger side does not work after that you know the relay is bad. If the two relay are the same. It also show a relay for all the doors.

Sorry but there is no relay switch ! Go to www.bbbind.com free wiring diagrams .Check it out ! Your regulator is probably bad ! Is there B+ voltage at the switch , at the motor ?
Left Front Window Switch Operation
Place the ignition switch in the RUN position in order to supply battery voltage to the left front door lock and side window switch through the POWER WINDOW circuit breaker and the CKT 1001 (DK GRN). Press the left front window UP switch in order to supply battery voltage to the left front side window regulator motor through CKT 164 (DK BLU). The window motor is grounded through CKT 165 (BRN) and the window switch DOWN contact.
The regulator motor runs to drive the window to the UP position. Press the DOWN window switch in order to provide battery voltage to the window regulator motor in the opposite direction through CKT 165 (BRN). The window regulator motor is grounded through the CKT 164 (DK BLU) and the window switch UP contact. The motor runs in order to drive the window down.

Depending on the year, the door lock relay may be under the driver's seat. You may need to get a shop manual to test the circuits. I don't think the DIY books have those diagrams.

Hi, there is only one relay for all of the windows, so that is not the problem. The likely problem is the switch. I recommend you test the switch using an ohmmeter.
In the case of the door lock, that problem may be a failed lock motor. I recommend you apply power directly to the lock motor to see if it works. If it does, check the switch. If not, replace the motor.

Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. you should check the fuses first, (you will find a table and diagram in your owner´s manual) although I don´t think that it has to be fuse, the problem will be the switch or the power window motor itself.

So please check the wiring between the door and the body for damaged isolations etc. as well.

not sure on this make but many vehicles have a lock out switch (safety feature) that deactivate all power windows except for the driver window. Usually on the driver door or close by

ford window motors are bad about burning out. if you can get the door panel off try tapping the motor with a hammer and see if it frees up. if it does, you know the motor needs to be replaced. otherwise the contacts on the switch may be dirty. check the fuse too, just in case.

First be sure the window lock in the drivers side master switch is not LOCKED. This will prevent the windows from being rolled down by any other switch. (p106+)

Usually windows operate off a RELAY - not a fuse... and all the windows work off the same power relay.

Your Relay Part Number is 41-5021.
Here is the electrical schematic for your windows - showing the relay is common to all windows.

If the relay is replaced - and/or tested good, You will need to remove the offending door's panel and verify the motor is getting 12VDC when you press the button for it to go down.

If there is 12VDC when you push the button, the motor is bad.

If there is NOT 12VDC when you push the button - the master switch or child lock bypass switch is faulty.

Under the ROADSIDE EMERGENCIES section (p.245) you will find a layout diagram of your fusebox.

P.248 instructs to pull DOWN on the fusepanel door to access... however your power window relay is located under the driver's side dash.



If the other windows work - there are 3 options to test/replace - in this order
1. Relay
2. Master Switch
3. Window motor.
