I have a ttpms light on in my car. what does that mean?

If it is on steady it means you need to check the air pressure in your tires. If you open the drivers front door there will be a sticker that says what the tires are supposed to be inflated to. If one tire is low and the others are fine you have a leak and need to get the tire looked at for a repair.

If it is blinking it means there is a problem with the TPMS system and needs to be looked at by a shop that is capable of diagnosing this system.

TPMS stands for Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

My daugther has a hyundai accent 2008, a light TPMS on, wath does it means?

"TPMS" light when ON indicates that the tyre pressure monetering system is malfunctioning. One or more of the TPMS components may experience failure. Vehicle should be driven to the authorized dealer for service. This warning is different from "underinflation" warning, also found on the dashboard in shape of deflated tire with "!" in the middle. hope this helps

Check ALL including the spare tire for proper air pressure. If all is well then check the fuse for the TPMS module. If all is well there, off to the dealer you may have to go.
