There is a hold down at the bottom near the battery,a 8 mm bolt head,or maybe a 10mm.

How do I unlock my 2006 Sonata with a dead car battery

If the battery is dead, the alarm will not go off. You unlock the car with the key, and either remove the battery to charge it, or jump the car to get the engine running to recharge the battery. There is a chance that the alarm will sound once power is available. Just click the remote to turn it off.

2010 G37 - battery was dead - jumped it off and drove it for twenty minutes. Next morning it wouldn't start and now it wont stop clicking (like a relay). Any suggestions?

if the battery goes dead or low it must be recharged with a charger, driving the car will not recharge it properly. The alternator is only meant to maintain the battery, not recharge it. Get the battery recharged and verified and then try again.

Battery will not fully charge. is replacement battery available?

You need a new battery if your alternator is putting out 14.5 volts you can try a charger just make sure you disconnect both cables and try a charge of a charger if it still doesn't take you most likely have a dead cell which may as well be a dead no good battery

WHAT DOES THE BATTERY LIGHT INDICATE ON A 1999 FORD TAURUS?

Sounds like your only problem is a very dead battery

If it was over 4 years old & you had load tested it,you
wouldn't have all that bad experience

Any idea why you installed a new alternator other than a guess,
no testing, well the dead battery may be an issue there as well

2003 Aurora, left key on and battery went dead. Recharged battery. Won't start. Turn key to on, security light out and check engine light on. Move key to start and nothing, back to on, one minut

Very interesting site here.. regarding your problem. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/
Another thought.. even though you charged the battery, it's not at all uncommon for a car battery to be very damaged by fully discharging. Especially if not new-ish. One or more cells in it may be bad causing the overall voltage to be under normal. This alone can cause the problem you have. I would try jumping it with another car or test the battery to see if it's got at least 12.7 to 12.9 volts when sitting doing nothing. Good luck.

2004 Kia Optima ,if doesn't start, and is not battery or cables, then what?

hi.if the engine is not roaring whenever you try to start your car then you might have a dead battery there. Try to replace the battery first if same thing will happen then this could be a faulty ignition assembly. Instead of buying a new battery try to recharge the battery first at any battery recharging station.

Can't remove key from ignition. battery is dead

If the battery is dead, the ignition keys will not release from the ignition. If there is no signal from the transmission shifter that it's in park since the battery is dead, then the ignition lock will not release the keys.  After charging the battery or jumping the blazer to start it and the key's still will not release, try this.
There is a "plunger" as part if the ignition. Under the steering wheel there is a small removable cap that you can take off and put a small screw driver up into and press the plunger in and it will release the key. Good luck and hope this helps, Keep me posted be glad to help.
