I bet your heater core is bypassed! They do that when they leak instead of fixing the leak. You might have to buy a new heater core and atach the hoses.

Without knowing what is wrong. Have the guy pay to fix it. that way, no matter what it costs, its not your problem. $3000 is way to much for that old car, find something better.

I need to get a highlight assembly for my '95 toyota... how can I tell if my car is a sedan, coupe, or wagon? And what type of headlight to buy??

there are a lot of places to by headlights including by not limited to eBay

as far as sedan, coupe or wagon, it won't matter since the headlamps don't change for either

however, a sedan is a 4 door with a trunk
a coupe is traditionally a 2 door but can also be a 4 door with a hatchback
and a wagon... well, that's easy... think of the old station wagons from the 70's and 80's

I have had this same problem with my buicks, Try to loosen the bolt and push the wiper down and retighten the bolt (or nut depending on model) IF this does not help then yes the action arm that is hooked to the motor is worn

My 1998 toyota camry heating doesn't work, a/c is ok

Sounds like your heater core went out or is plugged, try doing a coolent flush on your system and if that dont work then youll propably have to replace the heater core. Hope this helps

My heater does not blow hot air, also the car temp runs cold unless idling at standstill, however the car seems to run fine. what could i do to solve the problem

First thing to do would be check the thermostat. Sounds like it may be stuck open and needs replaced. If it sticks in the open position the engine never warms up properly an d will give you little or no heat.
