most likely have a if that didn't fix it then you have a park release switch faulty , it is near the brake pedal under the dash

1993 Buick LeSabre won't shift out of park when cold

if you have to push the brake to move it out of park there is (for lack of the proper name) a thing by the shifter you can remove and it won't bother anything or your brake pads need to be replaced for the electrical i would try spraying compressed air or another electrical cleaner in the crcracks to remove the dirt

2001 buick lesabre, shifter wont move out of park, the car runs, brakes good but wont shift.

Check the BTIS(Brake Transmission Interlock Solenoid). This solenoid allows the shifter to be moved out of Park only when the brake is pressed.I did not like this idea(the first year it was introduced,we had to replace that solenoid on every Buick Skylark). We had so many on the lot that I decided to just carry the keys and my tools around the storage lot instead of binging them into the shop to save time.

Gear selector won't shift from park to reverse

Could be the brake switch or the solenoid that locks the shifter in park.
That circuit would need to be tested.

1991 buick lesabre LSi. enging starts, no problem, just won't shift out of park.....what gives?

on most newer vehicles you have to have foot on brake to shift and start it. the problem is probably the switch behind brake pedal thats bad and needs replaced. if this switch is bad it will not shift from park!

2001Buick LeSabre parking light

On top of the headlight housing are two large knurled black plastic knobs.Unscrew them counter-clockwise.Now the whole headlight housing may be removed. Set it on the bumper and you'll have easy access to the marker light.
