I have one of these as well. 2 door? V6? There is supposed to be a switch on the steering column that you push up or down-but I haven't found it (nor looked for it) on mine.
You're looking in the wrong place. The reset switch is behind the main gauges, right under the buzzer. It's a small black sliding switch. You need to take the top cover of the gauges off to get behind the gauges. Also, keep in mind that after 120,000 miles the bulb for this warning lamp must be removed.

The light needs to be reset. Usually after an oil change they will reset it for you. Directions for doing yourself>>> turn off the engine, press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel then turn the ignition switch on. Hold the button until the indicator resets (approximately ten seconds). Directions from your Honda manual. Hope this helps!

With ignition off, press and hold "SELECT" and "RESET" buttons on dash and turn ignition to the "ON" position. Continue to hold until lamp resets.
Sit inside the driver's seat of the Honda Accord and close the driver's side door. Any interior lights on can prevent the maintenance required light from resetting properly on some year models.
Insert the key in the ignition.
Depress the odometer/trip button located beneath the odometer on the instrument panel. Hold the button down.
Turn the ignition key two clicks forward to the accessory power position. This is also known as the key-on/engine-off position.
Continue to hold down the odometer/trip button for up to 15 seconds until the maintenance required light goes out. On some Accord models, the maintenance required light may blink once before going out.
Release the odometer/trip button and then turn the ignition key to the off position.
Start the Honda Accord to ensure the maintenance required light is no longer illuminated on the instrument panel. If it still is, the reset procedure did not take and you'll need to repeat the procedure.
