Start with filter, if not that then the fuel delivery system, fuel pump (proper pressure or no pressure), throttle body or fuel rail injectors( faild, dirty or blocked.)
1993 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L SFI OHV 4cyl... - The Fuel Filter is located:
Under vehicle, center, below rear seating area, rear passenger side of fuel tank, mounted in fuel line - The Fuel Pump is located: Inside the tank - The Relay - Fuel Pump is located:
Under hood, passenger side, rear side of strut tower, mounted on fenderwell
It should be on the side where the gas tank is running along the fram of the car. You should see a small stanless steel or copper line running along the fram under the car near the rear of the car. Follow it until you see the filter.
Spray aerosol carb cleaner into the throttle body while an assistant tries to start the engine. If it runs for a few seconds then quits, you are not getting fuel into the engine. Check the fuses. You might have blown the fuse for the fuel injectors (possible if you removed any of the injector harnesses) or the fuel pump relay. Charlie
