Try changing the door switch. It should be a relatively easy fix if that is the problem.

i bought a used computer for my 1999 caravan it will start and run but now the gauges won't work. Any ideas.

The O2 sensors should be on the exhaust system below the exhaust manifold. You will need a special socket with a slot in it to replace it. Be sure to spray WD-40 on it (WHEN IT IS COOLED OFF) to help loosen it.

A Chilton or Clymers manual will give step by step instructions for you. Essentialy, on many vans one of the seats will need to be removed so that you can take out the motor by lifting it with a cherry picker through one of the side doors.

no becareful on switching trans on chrysler products. trans mission have to match computer. have yours rebuilt and avoid the headache

you need to check or probably replace the belt and automatic belt tensioner ,it is not keeping the belt tight.
