I highly recommend finding a mechanic who gives you a little more detail than a *gone* engine. It isn't hard to twist a few screws and call it a paperweight. Good Luck.

How do you install Genuine 2006-2009 Pontiac G6 Actuator Cable 25906916 on convertible

Buy the manual or program. I do not like at all like working on convertible tops. The sensors, module and wiring is a nightmare. Replacing mechanical parts gets worse.

My 2009 pontiac g6 monitor says engine power reduced , the car sputters , and ut only gos 20mph

Well, I doubt more than one sensor is bad, if any.
The trouble codes tell the mechanic what to test, not replace.
The O2 sensors provide data to the engine computer to adjust fuel mixture. You could also have low fuel pressure or something else.

Engine reduced power

Your catalytic converters may be plugged. They have had problems out of the converters on the G6s. Probably have to take it to a mechanic, but im going to forewarn you, a catalytic converter for a G6 is around $1,000.00 each, and if its a V6 theres two converters. What I did was went on ebay and I found 2 brand new converters, one was $227.00 and the other $238.00 free shipping on that one, and they also have remanufactures converters too.

You may need a more sophisticated scan tool for this type of analysis. Take it to a deal er or reputable mechanic who has such a tool. Without it, it can get very expensive with trial and error.

Hello I need help locating the fuse/relay for my power windows on my 2006 Pontiac G6. My windows are stuck in the down position.

The 2007 Pontiac G6 engine compartment fuse block is located on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the battery. The wiring circuits in Pontiac G6 are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses, circuit breakers and fusible links. This greatly reduces the chance of damage caused by electrical problems. Below diagram and table shows 2007 Pontiac G6 Engine Compartment Fuse Panel, Relay and the Circuit Protected.

You dont say what engine you have so I ASSUME its the 4 cylinder??? I dont know what your car needs because I dont know what has been checked, but even the wrong viscosity engine oil or low oil level can cause this code. Or it could be a cam sensor problem. I would have a professional repair shop check it out and recommend repairs.

How to clean O2 sensor on a 2007 Pontiac G6?

O2 sensor are located before and after Catalytic Converter ( exhaust system of your car). If you car's engine is 4 cyl you have 2 O2 sensors and if you car's engine is 6 cyl then you have 4 O2 sensors ( for each bank, 2 for left bank and 2 for right bank). Hope it helps and comment if you need more advice. Please don't forget to rate the answer it helps with my ratings, thanks!

Sluggish engine pontiac g6

Sounds like a transmission issue, have the car scanned for ant transmission related codes. Most transmission shops will check to make sure your transmission is working 100% free of charge. With what you have described, almost sounds like you don't have 1st or 4th gear and your transmission is running on 2nd and 3rd gear. Easy fix if the 1st-4th solenoid needs to be replaced, or the wire harness has gone bad. Start with getting your car scanned and let me know if your transmission is starting on 2nd. Good luck
