My 05 pt cruiser wont start in park but it will in nutreal why is that?

Hi,

I have a 2005 pt cruiser and i ran out of gas and got towed to get gas and after filling up i went to turn the car on and it wont start. It makes no noise and wont even turn over. The battery is brand new and all the lights and everything turn on. A red light blinks..not sure what that means or if that always blinks.. does anyone know the problem or how to fix it?

Cut off going down the road and wont start back
how many miles is on the vehicle? I had this problem with my 05 PT cruiser limited... the timing belt had broken at just over 150,000 miles. This is only one thing it could be give more info on what exactly happened and the conditions of your car for better answers.

05 pt cruiser transmission just quit pulling at 30 mph. under slight acceleration. put in park and pin holds vehicle. trans full and fluid clear and red not burnt. checked plugs and all seemed pluged in....
run fault codes
indicates a torque converter clutch servo/ solenoid or TCM provlem
It will be electronic / solenoid problems and not a transmission replacement requirement

This is because the engine does not accelerate and the RPM falls below the minimum the PCM is in charge of sending a signal for the engine to increase the RPM.Thanks

Code 344 camshaft sensor ciurcut intermitint 05 pt cruiser
im having exactly the same problem with a 2004 pt. took it to a dealer they told me ecm, replaced it and still the same problem. i changed out the cam knock sensor and the crank sensor. same thing. if i erase the code it will run perferct for an hour sometimes then same thing, light comes on and wont accelerate, over 2000 rpm. weird. im lost, it makes no sence.
