It could be just a fuse but it could also be the flasher relay packed up if your not even getting a clicking sound first look in the fuse box if all is good in there change the flasher relay

What would cause the blinker to blink very fast and the left rear blinker doesn't work.

You obviously have a bad connection somewhere in the taillight. Some trucks it is a common problem and the taillight circuit board is the problem.

I think a fuse problem

Sounds like you have shorted something out. When you add or remove something you should always take one of the cables off the battery. This prevents a lot of problems later.
Hope you did not burn one of the wires apart. and check all the fuses. If the wire is burnt you should replace it or make sure to tape it real good if its just the insulation that is burnt off.

My blinkers wont work but the hazards work. No fuses burnt out.

That would most likely be the switch itself. Fairly common

Check all fuses. Use a test light to check if there is current to the rear bulbs when flashers engaged. If there is, then replace the burnt bulbs. Check for ground at the rear lights.
Do the front marker lights work when engaged??

Using a test light check to see if there is power to the wire at the plug where the bulb is for the blinker. if so the socket is bad. if not check to see if the light assembly is working for ex. the parking lights or the brake light ect If those lights dont work then check the fuse for the right rear tail light. Hope this helps.
