Its your brake light switch which also kills your cruise control

By a cheap odb2 reader read code then delete codes,,with no check engine light on it will crank with remote start ,,a few times,,,,or til the light reappears ,,,you can also take the neg cable off the battery for 30 seconds to clear the codes,,, remote start should work after that if no engine light

Check the fuses

It has a switch on the main structor where your door is hinged that may be stuck. when the door opens befor the timer runs out it shuts of the radio but main lights are on their own timer.

try and disconnect positive cable on battery and see if it resets computer make sure you have your radio code just in case it locks it

we have a 08 1500 crewcab chevy that all the power door locks worked excepted the drivers door. We started to look at that door power lock actuater and now the passenger power door lock does not work. Could the trouble be something other than actuaters?

Then the problem is either with your trailer plug in, or the plug in on the truck. Use a test light to figure out which it is.
