Hello, your EBCM is located on the frame underneath the vehicle just below the driver's seat. Sorry, I don't have a picture of it. Have you had brake work done recently?

DTC C0201 00: Antilock Brake System (ABS) Enable Relay Contact Circuit
The solenoid relay, located within the electronic brake control module (EBCM), supplies battery voltage to all of the valve solenoids.
Circuit/System Verification
With scan tool installed, clear the DTCs then drive the vehicle in a straight line at a speed greater than 20 km/h (13 mph). If the DTC did not set as a current DTC see diagnostic aids.
Circuit/System Testing
Test for an open or a short to ground in the battery positive voltage circuit to the EBCM. Verify no open or a short to ground is found.
Test the EBCM ground circuit, an open or high resistance.

DTC C0201 (Equal to or over 8600 GVW)
The system relay, located within the electronic brake control module (EBCM), supplies battery voltage to all of the valve solenoids and to the Antilock Brake System (ABS) pump motor. When the relay contacts close, the EBCM monitors the voltage supplied to the valve solenoids and compares this voltage to monitored ignition voltage.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
• The EBCM disables the ABS/DRP.

What is the C0265 error code

The ABS EBCM anti-lock brake module is failing causing problems with the ABS pump running constantly, also will drain your battery.
  1. Remove the ABS fuse to prevent ABS motor burn out.
  2. You can still drive your vehicle with the module removed.
  3. We recommend covering the exposed surface of the hydraulic control unit with aluminum foil to keep out water and dirt.
Common Failures:
  • ABS Pump Always Running
  • Codes: C0265, C0267, C0268

How to repair abs EBCM

EBCM relay is the actual fault code cause. EBCM stands for Electronic Brake Control Module. ECBM stands for Electronic Brake Control Module. It is the big part that the brake lines go into and back out of from the MasterCyl and to the Brakes. It is also the ABS motor all in one. The relay is under the hood at the Fuse/Relay center just inbetween the EBCM/ABS and AirIntake. Relays are big and square. The underside of the Fuse/Relay center cover has the ID and placement embossed into it of everything in the F/R center. Be sure to check the fuses first. The relay needs power to operate and the EBCM or ABS or Brake fuse will be the one for it. Good luck!

Where are the ground wires for the ecbm gmc safari 2005

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) C0265 is a POWER circuit code for the EBCM/Pump Motor Relay, not a ground code. This DTC sets when the voltage (B+) is too low at the EBCM when the solenoids and pump motor are commanded OFF. The voltage is supposed to be pulled low when the circuit is commanded ON. A ground problem with the EBCM is most likely to cause a failure of the EBCM to communicate with a scan tool. However, it doesn't hurt anything to check the ground. The main ground for the EBCM (G106) is located on the left rear of the engine near the knock sensor.

2000 ABS relay location

Unfortunately the ABS relay is built into the EBCM. Electronic Brake Control Module. That is located on the frame rail, left side of vehicle and sits on top of the pump. Both parts are likely to be replaced together as getting the module off the pump can be difficult. I recommend a repair facility do this job but it can be done at home. You will likely need to take loose metal brake lines and that can be quite a task also.
Are you getting a code for the relay / EBCM?

Good luck
