How to remove a powersteering pully on a 2005 chevy aveo

If this is like most late model chevys, it requires a special tool, usually available as a loan a tool from parts stores. Tricky to use to ask them to show you how.

Have a hard time getting the three bolts that hold the pully to the water pump , there no way of holding it to remove them

I will tell you how I do it! take a bar or big screwdriver to hold it from turning, if that wont work. sometimes you can position a pipe wrench cross wise, and hold it so the pulley does not turn. good-day!

Where is coolant system air bleed off for 2010 chevy aveo with ecotech engine

There isn't one. Fill the reservoir, start the engine and run it till the T stat opens. This will start to drain the reservoir. Over fill it by and inch or so. You can take it to a parking lot and run it in circles to purge air or watch the coolant level for the next few days and fill as needed.

2005 aveo will not start. tried new wires and plugs, checked for spark, and pulled injector plug fuel sprayed out so pump is ok.

it may need the bulletin update for the throttle...pricey. i just had mine done after they diagnosed that as the problem.

has the timing belt been changed? in aveos, they should be changed every 60,000.....

Is not getting fuel to injectors has new cpu and crank sensor and a new cam sensor. motor is new .i was told when it died going down the hiway it needed a new engine, but this is what has been going on...

check the fuel pump and related electrical system and fuses. The aveo doesn't have a fuel filter but only a screen at the bottom of the pump. I had to replace the fuel pump in my 2004 aveo at 80k due to a clogged screen. Hope this helps

Water pump

On the 3.4.... Drain coolant, remove drive belt guard, loosen pulley bolts, remove drive belt, remove pulley, remove water pump. Good idea to check the belt for cracks or wear when doing the pump replacement. Reverse the procedure to install.
