if it starts up shortly and then dies it could be the fuel pump resistor that these cars have if its a supercharged car.this resistor is in the circuit to boost the pressure the pump puts out so the car will always have enough pressure when the supercharger is activated.its located on the passenger side between the inner and outer wheel well and you can get to it by going under the car and looking up and putting your hand up in the area you will feel it.its hard to get to,the wire connector for it is under the hood by the washer bottle area and is a 2 wire connector.have fun finding it.you can install it under the hood if you can find an area that air flow will help keep it cool.
Do you have a security light lit on the insturment cluster ? Check engine light etc.... Could be a lot of thing's , testing should be done . Fuel pressure testing using a fuel pressure gauge , before replacing parts . If do not know this , do yourself a favor , take it to a qualified repair shop . Would cost you less in the long run.

Yes yes you can... As long as the are the same engine. It cannot go from supercharged or not supercharged. But i know what your asking. The motor is the same
If you don't see a diagram under your hood somewhere, just put it around the crank pulley, and go "ribs to ribs, flat to flat" , and work your way around.
