I have a 1999 monte carlo ls 3.1 sfi v6 and there are misfires in cylinders 2 and 4 when idleing, it doesnt happen when im driving, i changed the plugs and the wires. Is there a possability that there is a problem with the injectors for those cylinders?

Uh, the actual firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6. There should be a sticker under hood that shows proper wire routing to the 3 coilsI need help with the 97 3.1 v6 monte carlo ls firing order?
The firing order goes 1-6-4-3-5-2 im pretty sure im not too familiar with v 6's

firing order is 123456

change or clean the idle air control valve

try replacing the module which is located under the coil packs.

No valves are not adjustable.

I would be doing a compression test , could be burnt valves or a broken camshaft . I have seen the V6 3.8l Buick engines snap camshafts just in front of the 2 rear cylinders this causes the front 4 cylinders to work perfect but the back 2 do nothing at all.
Do the compression test and let me know what your readings are ......
