Sounds like you may have blown a fuseable link.
RECOMENDATION AND LOCATION:
Check the fuse block located on the drivers side fenderwell, in this location you will find fuses and fusible links.
This is a wire with which seems to have a thick insolation on it.
To test you can pull the wire to see if it still hase a wire in it, if the link is blown there will be only insolation.

Even though the battery is new doesn't mean that you couldn't of left a light on and drained the battery. Try charging the battery and starting again. If you have a trickle charger then take the battery out and let it trickle charge over night.
