Try spraying starter fluid in the breather to see if the problem is fuel related or electrical. If the car starts and dies it is fuel related. Check the fuel pump relay .if its good the problem will be the fuel pump..Next electrical remove a spark plug wire to see if it is firing at the spark plug . Let me know how it comes out.. GOOD LUCK!

Gotta 99 Mercury cougar 2.5litre,v6, won't turnover. Lights and dash come on, but won't turnover. I checked fuses, 1 for fuel was blown, need sum help diagnosing, thnx.

All electrical connections must be cleaned when you say won't turn over do you mean the engine cranks and you have power or just a click or nothing at all ? All of us are not there obviously so we all need for you to post in specific terms ok now back to the pssible issue ////after cleaning all the cable connections for the battery the engine ground and the power distribution box cable and bolt lug try to crank the engine if it cranks but no start still exists go back and check the blown fuse you had ? Again what fuel Injectors ,throttle body, fuel pump, fuel pump relay on the same circuit as something else etc.and see if it's still blown again or is the fuse good if it was for the fuel pump check the relay and change it try again if still nothing pour some gas into the throttle body and try to start it if it turns over for thirty seconds and then dies you have a 100% fuel delivery problem if it doesn't run check for spark and check the plugs most likely your fuel pump went

Replace fuel pump on 09 silverado it still wont crank and run also no power to fuel pump fuse with key on

If you turn the key and get nothing. That is no crank. If you turn the key and the starter causes the engine to rotate but not start, then you get crank or turnover, You need to clarify.

My 2008 Nissan Versa ran completely dry, i put qas in and it still wont start... Any ideas?? A few people keep mentioninq the relay, but where the hell is it? Does this even sound like the issue?? HELP...

It can take a long time cranking to get the air out of the lines and injectors.
Also, you could have sucked some junk from the tank into the filter.
Its possible you burned the pump running it empty, but not likely with a 4 yr old car. The pump uses fuel to lube and cool itself.
Could be a vent problem with the tank too.
A shop would disconnect the line before the filter and see if the pump is pumping fuel.

2000 chevy s-10 died on highway will crank will not turnover bought new battery

spray brake cleaner into throttle body and try to start. If it starts your fuel pump failed most likely. If it doesnt fire most likely crank sensor or ignition module failed.

1998 Chevy tahoe Hard to start when cold

replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump

My 1997 Dodge Avenger's engine won't start

Try cam and/or crank sensor. If crank to cam timing isn't detected properly it'll crank all day but won't start. I had similar problem on my 2.5L V6 Avenger....drove home fine, no engine light, next morning it cranked, but wouldn't start. The crank sensor was faulty.

Car stopped running on the highway. I tried to restart the car // all it would do is turnover and would do a complete start/ lights do work and all electrical seems to he working// is this the fuel...

it can be the fuel filter or pump but i am going to need more information because it could be many other things as well.
I want you to have someone turn the key into the on position but do not start the car. stand at the back of the car a listen for a humming noise. if you hear it than the fuel pump is working. let me know what you find out.
