I have a 2006 toyota tacoma. When I go straight or turn left, the front end makes a humming noise that only gets louder as I accelerate. When I turn right, it goes away. What could be the problem?

Sounds like you replaced the front bearing. Could be a rear wheel bearing, or one of the tires.

Humming noise from front left side

I hate to say it, but it sounds like something in the differential - transmission. The part about the noise and coasting fits a differential bearing noise. Making turns could put extra load on the bearings and gears in the transmission.

Without looking at it, you may have one or more of the following:

Rust on the inside edge of the rotor (most common)

Worn front brake pads

Front wheel bearing problem.

Backing plate (behind rotor) rubbing the rotor

These are the most common causes, you can see 1,2 & 4 with the wheel off.

Hope this helps.
