My 1991 chevy cavalier VL/RS is over heating when I drive it just 2 miles. Nothing is leaking. What could be the problem?

Sounds like the easiest solution is the thermostat. Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Where it's clamped on is the thermostat housing. Remove that to reveal the thermostat.

No look for vacum hose under hood that runs into fire wall, make sure it has vacum, if no vacum add vaum to it.
