You have a failed battery I'm sure

Make sure it's in park press brake turn the knob to the awe position then back up press brake go forward put in park press brake the put in 2wd then back up and it should come out if not you have another issue

try placing foot on brake as you take it out of park,ign on.

Possibly...shifters can feel like they are stuck in park when a vehicle is parked on a hill/slope and the parking brake was not applied. All the weight of the vehicle rests on the transmission, which makes it difficault to shift out of park.

the reason the shifter is stuck in park is because the brake lights dont work.check ALL fuses if fuses ok then check brake light switch

I have a 1997 ford expedition, my steering is very loose how could i fix this problem

General Electical Module is out or going out. May be cause from leaking windshield causing water to get into it.

The shift cable is probably broken from the shifter to transmission.
