How to replace the weel bearing

Toyota Camry 1994 front weel bearing has to be replaced. What is the procedure? Do I have to get a workshop manual? Is there such a thing as a FREE downloadable workshop manual?

Don't so much worry about the manual as the technique. The manual will tell you to repack the bearing - it MIGHT even tell you how to properly clean and inspect and measure the bearing. It will not explain the packing process, however. If you get it off and there is damage, how will you remove the parts, the race in particular.

Packing is a technique that requires hands on experience under the watchful eye of someone who knows how to do it OR a special tool which requires some modecum of training to use effectively.

The manual will tell you the torque specs for the nut and other particulars. The manual may tell you about lifting the car and placing jack stands under if for safety, you do have two automotive jack stands, right? Having the manual is not the answer inthis case.

There is lots more to this job than meets the eye. For the relative small amount of $ it costs, I suggest you get this job done right by a professional in your area. Watch him or her, if they will allow it and you can do the next one. I don't want to see you get hurt doing this or to haved it not done properly and a wheel fly off your car which could pave some far reaching consequences.

Owners manual

I have not seen a source for the owners glovebox-type handbook, only a workshop manual. If you want a print edition the Haynes workshop manual is good. Otherwise try

Bad Wheel Bearing on a 1994 Toyota Camry should I also replace the abs sensor?

You should only replace the sensor if it is damaged. Most Japanese made vehicles have bearings that are pressed in to the wheel hub. Your local parts store should have a new hub assembly that comes with the bearings already pressed in it. If you know of a machine shop that will press new bearings in the old hub and remove the old bearings that may be a little less expensive. They need to be removed and installed using a bearing press. How to change a rear wheel bearing on a 1994 toyota camry

The rear wheel bearing on a toyota camry is replaced by replacing the wheel bearing and hub as a unit. this is a design change as compare to older models with two piece wheel bearings. Scotch drive wheels. Remove rear wheel. Remove rear brake drum. (note: if emergency brakes are applied you will not be able to remove brake drum) Remove dust cap and hub retaining nut. Hub should slide off as unit. Replace hub with new unit. Installation is reverse of removal.

1994 toyota camry door speaker replacement

Does speaker have an external cover on it, on the outside of door panel? if yes, remove it and speaker porobaly has screws holding it in door. if no, just slots/smalll holes, cut in panel & speaker is concealed behind panel, then the panel will have to come off. Once you get to the speaker it's relatively easy from there.
