Your owners manual should show you where the fuses are located. If you don't have an owners manual, you can go to
my.gm.com, type in your year--make--model and hopefully read your owners manual for free.
Do the brake lamps work ok?
I found these fuses, not only check fuses, check for voltage on fuse circuit, use a test light. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Any codes for the cruise system?

The ecm A and B fuses are located in the underhood fuse/relay panel

Gotta tell you, this question had me a little confused. Below are 2 wiring diagrams for you. One is for the cruise control circuit and the other is for the air conditioning circuit. The reason I gave you those is because it seems according to the wiring diagram in the cruise control that the fuse for the cruise control goes to the HVAC (air conditioning). According to the wiring diagram for the A/C yes that fuse also controls the ignition power for the A/C controller. In any case the fuse that would cover the cruise control is the number 30 fuse in the fuse panel located under the hood of the vehicle. Below is a picture of the location of the fuse panel and also fuse layout diagrams for the 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engine vehicles as they have different layouts depending on the engine size. its located on the wiper motor.there a black removeable cover thats held on by some screws .remove that and it right there

it generly works thru the brake light fuse, you prob have a vaccume leak causing it not too work!!

i own a 1991 chevy blazer myself but my problem is opposet of yours my back lights stay on well i went underneath the dash board an i look up underneath my steering column an i saw to components one was to my cruise control an the one in back of it was to my back lights an i moved this around an to my surprise my light swork good now but now my speed odometer doesnt not work an my gas gauge am my oil aa water gauge my power windows dont work an niether my a/c or heater defroster im jus wondering if i need to move this component alittke more to the left or right yesterday everything worked hmmmm
