Have a Ford Galaxy '52' reg - dashboard / radio lights have started to flicker as well as a crackling sound from the dimmer control if on full illumination, and a clicking sound from inside rear passenger door (electric window hasnt been working for last 12 mths) but only when lights on and engine running? and also causes both indicator lights on dash to go off sporadically together as though hazard lights have been put on.

I have a ford galaxy 02 plate and want to remove the silver fairing around the doule head unit how can i do it and is there any diagrams for removal?

Hi it sounds like the dimmer switch has had it, remove the dimmer and connect the 2 wires from it together if the dash lights stay on then thats the issue.

I dont think the rear window is related, most likely the motor in the door has gone or the mechainsim is to tight you will need to remove the door trim to inspcet it, can you still here the motor? if so then the fault is mechanical and not electrical.
