I had this problem with my saturn also but when i pushed on the horn button, it stopped and hasn't worked since. For Saturn owners, I suggest going to the library and getting the Lemon Aid Book for cars. It will solve alot of the mysteries with Saturns.

Get your owner's manual out of the glovebox and find the fuse panel. I believe it is behind a velcro attached panel to the left of the front passenger's knee. When you take the cover off there is a paper in there explaining what each thing is. Locate the horn relay and pull it out, that will quiet the horn. Possibly the relay is bad and replacement could fix it, however I would put my money on the switch in the steering wheel being bad. If you cannot find the horn relay, look under the front left bumper in front of the battery and just pull the wires off the horn itself to quiet the thing.

2007 yaris, when car is running the horn will do a quick beep then seconds later another beep then a few minutes later another beep. What is going on with it?

If your 2007 Yaris horn emits quick beeps at random intervals while the car is running, it could be an indication of an underlying issue. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
  1. Alarm System: Your Yaris may have an alarm system that is triggering the horn beeps. Check if the alarm system is armed and ensure it is functioning correctly. Review the alarm system's manual for instructions on how to adjust its settings or troubleshoot any issues.
  2. Electrical Problem: The horn beeps could be caused by an electrical problem, such as a faulty horn switch or a short circuit. Inspect the wiring and connections associated with the horn and the steering wheel controls. Look for any loose or damaged wires, connectors, or switches. If you notice any issues, it may be necessary to have a professional mechanic diagnose and repair the electrical problem.
  3. Malfunctioning Horn Relay: The horn relay is responsible for controlling the power supply to the horn. A malfunctioning relay can cause intermittent horn beeps. Consider checking and possibly replacing the horn relay if it is suspected to be the source of the problem.
  4. Steering Wheel Controls: If the horn beeps occur when turning the steering wheel or when specific buttons or controls are pressed, there may be an issue with the steering wheel controls. Inspect the steering wheel for any visible damage or loose connections. If necessary, have a professional inspect and repair the steering wheel controls.
It is recommended to have a qualified mechanic or auto-electrician inspect your Yaris to diagnose the exact cause of the horn beeps. They can use diagnostic tools and their expertise to identify and resolve the issue more accurately.
Remember to consider your safety and the safety of others while driving. If the horn beeping becomes disruptive or potentially distracting, it may be best to temporarily disconnect the horn or seek professional assistance to avoid any hazards on the road.

My 1995 manual mazda astina horn keeps beeping when i step on the brake? The clutch seems to be sinking into the floor. Are these related and how do i stop my car beeping at innocent people?

Hi, it sounds like you have air getting into your clutch slave cylinder as thats what causes the pedal to sink to the floor when you have air in the system . As for the horn your brake pedal could be touching a bare horn cable that must be some were on the car floor or outside the car . You will have to check inside and out side for a bare wire next to the brake pedal.

My horn keeps beeping when I am driving

have to remove the center pad of the steering wheel(should be 2 6mm bolt holding it on)on the back side of the steering wheel. once you have that off there should be (i think) a yellow wire that wire goes to the horn contact switch. replace that contact.

My horn keeps beeping when I am driving

You could pull the horn relay or disconnect the horn.
Problem could be the relay or the horn pad on the steering wheel, or a short in the steering column.

Horn keeps beeping, flashing red light in dash. Would like to disconnect horn fuse in fuse box but do not know which one it is?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You should have black solid fuses on the right hand side of the engine compartment. I believe there is ten. I had the same issue with mine. I believe it is the second or third one down on the right but I am not for sure. Just keep taking them out until the beeping stops. If you take out one and it don't help, put it back and move onto the next one.
