Of course check fluid first & if low you'll need to determine the cause.
Other than that, it would indicate that either you have a leak between the Clutch master cylinder & the Clutch slave cylinder on the transmission, or, one of those 2 parts is defective.
Check under the clutch pedal on the floorboard to see if you can identify any clutch fluid (same as brake fluid for the most part) around the area below where the clutch rod comes through the firewall. If you do, that means the clutch master cyliinder is leaking.
Next is to go to the transmission & see if you can identify the leak there.
Amazingly, cold weather and bad Clutch Slave Cylinders go hand in hand. Once you find the problem just replace the part, tighten the line, bleed the system & you should be good for a long time.
