Check for spark and verify that the crank sensor is working.
Do an OBD scan too and see if any sensors are not responding.
Check also the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor and the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor !
Caution: This engine has been identified as an INTERFERENCE engine in which the possibility of valve-to-piston damage in the event of a timing belt failure is MOST LIKELY to occur! A compression check of all cylinders should be performed before removing the cylinder head!

Hello when you replaced timing belt did you turn engine proper rotation 2 times and recheck your marks if you didnt the tensioner may have slipped and you lost the correct timing hope not also check compression you may have bent valves and low compression if all good the recheck for spark may have tor up crank shaft sensor wires. hope this helps Thunderboltz

Hey thanks for ur solution. When i turn the crank 2 times the oil pump sprocket is always off i made sure i did what the haynes manual told me and put the screwdriver threw the block to check it i even reset it.everything else lines up but the oil pump sprocket.
i have lined it up 3 times it starts out lined up but it is way off after 2 turns but if i go 4 turns it lines up.

I did line all those marks up and put the screwdriver threw the block to line up the oil pump driven balance shaft but when i turn the crank twice with the belt on for some reason the oil pump sprocket is almost half a turn, and i made sure nothing slipped. it does line up in 4 turns. is that ok? when i say 2 turns i meen the crank sprocket turned 2 times.
