Where is fuel pump on 1990 cavalier. how do I get to it?

if its a racing fuel pump than it will have more BUT that will do you no good if you dont have racing fuel injectors, fuel rail, bigger intake manifold, bigger throtle body, and your mapping tuned in with a flashable pcm$$$$$$$$$$$$. stock fuel programing will let it run stock no matter how much pressor your fuel pump puts out. fuel injectors are solenoids that the pcm opens and closes they dont stay open. BUT IT WILL WORK

look under the hood on your vehicle, on the drivers side, there should be a black box, remove the top plastic cover, and the fuel pump relay should be inside.

locate the water pump and see if you see a leak...

check fuel pump if pump is good make sure your getting fuel up front if not replace filter if all fuel checks out ok test for spark

Clogged fuel filter? A clogged fuel filter may be why your original pump failed.

check your fuel pump relay; if the contacts are worn or dirty, it won't conduct electricity as it should.

it has 6 fuel injectors

carbon build up on fast idle valve.

the fuel tank must be removed to replace the fuel pump, there is no other access to the pump.
