Pull the air bag module , don't recommend you do that ! Is the air bag light lit on the instrument cluster ? Horn not working an air bag light lit would indicate clock spring problem . Do you know what the clock spring is ?

The Pontiac Sunfire automatic transmissions are "sealed" and have no fluid dipstick. All they have is a plug in the transmission, and the fluid should be filled to the level of that plug. I've never liked that setup, but it is what it is. A mechanic can easily check the fluid level with the car on a lift.

the paint code is ussually in the trunk you lift the cover for the spare there will be a tag there look for a number that starts with U.

I have a 2000 sunfire and mine went out too. just have it replaced with another OEM horn and then it should work fine.

your horn located at front bumper fascia.besure to check the cigarette lighter- horn fuse before assuming its the horn.

this is located on passenger side the bar you see is impact bar under bumper cover.

96 sunfire - press horn and you hear the relay neer the glove box but there is no horn noise. I can't even locate the horn. Any suggestions?
