Horn stopped

Check wiring connecters to the horn Check fuse. Or even better purchase another horn if above is fine. A good way of checking is remove the connection to the horn and place a tester onto the wires and press the horn inside. If there is signal to the horn then replace the horn.

2008 odyssey brake fuse location

Hi there:
The simplest way to check the brake light fuse on a Honda is to operate the horn. The horn is always on the same fuse as the brakelights.

The fuse position #7, "Stop" is the one. Ive been doing this so long I dont even look at the fuse unless the horn won't blow. It's the fastest surest test. So if the horn works, I'm 99 % sure its the bulbs. The brake light switch has to be good if the shifter works with the brake pedal. Unless the car has been taken apart or damaged in the rear recently I cant see another cause for the light to be out.

The brake lights even use different grounds, so thats unlikely too.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Horn wont stop cant locate fuse

The fuse block is located below the dash and mounted to the fire wall. This area is where the brake pedel is located. If you still can't locate the fuse, open the hood and the horn is located behind the grill. Remove the wire from the horn. To fix the problem correctly it's possible that the horn relay is stuck closed which is why the horn blows. A wiring diagram will show the location of the relay. Most relays snap into the holder.

Suzuki XL7 -horn

The owner should locate the horn circuit . prepare the tools or equipment to be used.So that when the horn circuit is check it function properly.locate horn unit, horn relay, horn switch, horn power supply.check the fuse, check the relay, check the switch, check the wires, check the horn unit.Observe safety precautions.Use terms to describe checking horn circuit. If there are worn out or malfunctioning parts replace them.If there are loose connections of wires then reconnect it . But if the owner cant do it go to a car mechanic and the mechanic will do the job.

Rx7 horn problem, connected directly 2 battery it works but when i push the horn i dosent and i cant locate the horn relay or fuse..

Did u check both fuse panel one under the hood the other in the cab under or on the side of the dash. Also sometimes the switch inside the stearing wheel will short or just stop working due to dust or excessive force. If the car has a drivers air bag it will be costly to replac this switch due to the explosives used in the air bag deployment system. good luck and good hunting

Horn not working

Did it just stop working one day? A horn is mostly solid state and rarely just stops working. First place to check is the fuse panel. Make sure the fuses are good. If the fuse is good, you may have a bad relay. To test that, get a volt meter or test light and connect it to the two leads going to the horn. (the horn will usually be in the front of the car, behind the bumper or inside the wheel well. Get under the car and look up inside the front. It should be in there somewhere). When you have the test light on the leads, turn the key on (not th engine) and have someone depress the horn button. If you get power to the two leads, it's time for a new horn. Good luck.
