You have water getting into one of your lights i would check all the bulbs and make sure none of them is busted if water gets into a broke buld it will cause a short in the lights

Asked about my Dodge earlier 77 won't stay on once warm now I notice the fuses arnt lighting up once I test them could that cause my car to shutoff once warm

fuses don't "light up"
they either convey current (good)or they don't ( blown)
A fuse blows when there is excessive current going through it and it blows to protect the wiring and equipment it allows current to
so any fuse that does it's job and blows will stop something from working
However as from your statement you have a dodge 1977 model which suggests that it has carburetor/s fitted and is not fuel injected (EFI) and again from your description It starts , runs until it reaches operating temperature , then shuts down
IT that is correct, I would be looking at the automatic choke adjustment as if it is still on when it warms up then the engine will be running to rich and will stop
Now if the fuse is in the ignition circuit and you have a faulty coil that goes bad and draws excessive current, then that fuse will blow and cut the ignition
But it all comes back to the question ---will the car start again after it has stopped without replacing the fuse
if it does then fuses have no part in the engine stopping so you need to look else whaere for the reason the fuse is blowing

Running headlights don't work, but bright lights do. Could this be a bad fuse or is the entire light unit run from one fuse??

I have had this problem for over a year and a half and the middle/bright lights can be cut on,but i have to hold the switch in to keep them on. The parking lights stay on all the time,so i assume it's a "running" setup. I've had the light "switch" replaced for about $450 and then the guy tells me..."oh,it's the "relay" that needs to be replaced",but releases the car to me as if it's ready to go?? The fuse is still good, but not sure about the bulb. Guess you can't assume a crooked mechanic is going to check that, right??
anyway,thanks for the input.
take care-

ECI Fuse keeps blowing

What ever was blowing the fuse intermittently now has a full blow dead short. Trace it through to the unit and check for connections shorting out or the unit itself shorting out.

Tail lights and dash lights are not commin on. back up lights brake lights and turn signals all still work. I think it has something to do with some type of switching device for the day time running...

It sounds like you may have blown a fuse the tail lights and dash lights are usually on the same fuse. Do you have the owners manual? That will show you where the fuse boxes are located and which fuse does what. If you find a blown fuse and it blows another one right away, there's a problem in the wiring. You'll have to get it checked bt a mechanic.

Well my runnung tail lights to my 2005 Dodge magnum are not working...we recently been haveing problems with it we noticed it was the fuse blowing so we kept changing them out..but one day they quite...

You had a short, which kept blowing the fuse. Now the wire may have been pinched somewhere and finally come apart. You now need to trace the circuit with a voltage tester of some kind. Look for 12v dc at the fuse, then the switch input, the switch output and along the wire which usuall runs along the drivers side under the moulding at the door sile, under back seat into the trunk to the lamps. The fron light wires go through a grommet in the firewall up to the lights. Was the car in an accident or had work done just before this started.

Electrical Problem

Oh Daphne! Bella needs some care... first check the fuse related to radio,it usually protect radio and antenna motor. The trip odo problem can be located inside the dash so you have to emove it and check the macanism that runs the odometer.About the doors lights look down at the door stricker area and you'll find a push-in switch,it is pushed by the door each time you closed, check if any of those is damage and letting the lites on.hope you solve all Daphne,Buena suerte!
