Is it out of a flange or out of the block?head gasket? if its a leaky flange they usually have o rings that tend to rott out after 100k plus.and they make this stuff called stop leak it works real well, and if its real bad and your in a pinch the egg always works

You can use the product that is called silver sealer. If this has a 4.3 it could be the intake gasket. You can get a few name brand sealers at a parts store.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Where is the ecm on a 1994 gmc sonoma

If it's a 2.2, its on the passengers side, mounted to the engine block just above the motor mount. It sits under the coil packs. If you meant PCM, its inside the truck passenger side, behind the glove box.

Coolant leaking from 1994 Sonoma. Is not near the water pump or radiator, but more towards the back of the block. What might it be?

It could be a heater hose, an intake manifold gasket, or a rusted through freeze plug. You must "look" to see where the leak is originating from.

I have a coolant leak in the back of the block of my 1994 gmc sonoma. i'm not sure if it is the freeze plugs or the o-ring. wat can i do to stop the leak, or seal it for a while until i can afford to get...

If the leak is not to bad, you can add 3 table spoon of common kitchen table black pepper. The pepper will plug up the hole and when it's time to clean up, it's just a simple flush and the pepper will not plug up any water passageways. Try not to use any radiator stop leak, they end up restricting the water flow and your going to have to use radiator flush to get it all cleaned up which can also damage the heater core creating more work for you. Good luck and hope it's a simple fix once you have some time. Keep me posted.

could have a blown head gasket or cracked head or worse case scenario, a cracked block letting oil into the combustion chamber and out the exhaust. if it is letting coolant into the oil then pull the dipstick and there should be a milky white look to it where the oil tried to mix with the coolant. but its normal to have water alone drip from the drain hole in the exhaust from condesation. for every gallon of fuel your vehicle uses, it produces about a gallon of water thru the exhaust

94 GMC sonoma needs head gasket

no real pit falls just drain coolant remove head have head checked at machine shop. Clean engine surface good and rise good with brake clean, make sure head gasket is on correct before head goes on bolt down with proper torque and sequence then finish up then drain oil.
