Question about 2004 Cadillac Escalade Ext
Hello. The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is on the outside of the throttle body assembly. It's beside the throttle plate inside the throttle body. Once you remove the air cleaner from the throttle body you will see what I am talking about. I hope this helps, please don't hesitate to ask any other questions about this.

Iam seeing two possible locations one is on the throttle body and the other is at the top of the gas pedal if its on the throttle body it will be rght in line with the throttle blade should have three wires to it. the gas pedal should be near the top of the pedal. hope this helps Thunderboltz

the two bolts that hold the sensor are torqued to 18 inch pounds. other than that it's self adjusted through the ecm

Look where your throttle cables etc are attached at throttle body, it should be at opposite end of the shaft that operates throttle plate in front of throttle body opening. Usually held on with Torx screws
