    Thank you for the reply.

The ABS is currently functioning, it is my wife's car and she said the ABS light does come on when she brakes heavily. I had the car in for regular service last week and they did not find anything wrong with the car. I was not aware of the problem until after the visit.

I would have a brake tech at a reliable auto center check the abs (anti-lock brake system)
Do you have any lights on in your dash with the letters abs ?
I would have this checked out now. It is not safe to drive your vehicle if there are brake problems, no matter how " intermitten"
Please let me know what you find.

Need break light wiring diagram for 07 Buick rendezvous

Go to your local Auto Zone store and they may be able to help you. Although it should still be straight forward. I have found that most of the problems are found in the brake light bulb sockets because they usually have a lot of corrosion inside of them.

Good luck

2003 buick rendezvous jerking while driving and in park

With or without your foot on the brake pedal? Did you have the ECU scanned for codes? You can have diagnostic codes in the ECU without having a light.

I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX that has been jerking when i accerate for two days. On the second day i took it to midas and he told me it was the motor mounts ( i beleve he was trying to rip me off)...

Motor mounts while cause a clunk noise while accelerating, but only once. I would suspect your fuel filter firstly is partially plugged, especially if it lacks power. If the jerking you are talking about is only present under acceleration or under load, such as climbing a hill. Then I would suspect a misfire, like a bad spark plug or wire shorting out. At 150,000 km if you haven't had a tune-up yet, I would highly recommend it. It is something you can do yourself and save the money. If you prefer not to, don't go to Midas. Go to a local respectable shop, and get a tune-up. It will include a fuel filter.

1. When I brake to stop, say at a stop light/sign, just as I come to a complete stop, the entire car jerks forward a bit even with my foot on the brake. This happens EVERY time I stop. The jerking/lurching...

Sounds like an automatic transmission problem, specific the clutch. Either a rebuild or a new one. Check the fluid level and smell it to see if there is a strong odor. The collar should be cherry red. If it's brown, it's cooked.

How do you change back spark plugs in 2005 buick rendezous

Most GM FWD's are a pain, but theres a trick. Undo the dogbone that connects the engine to the front frame where the radiator is (some cars/vans have 2, a few have only 1) with a second persons help, push the vehicle forward from the back until it stops (leave the trans in park and the parking break unset) when it stops, lock down the parking brake to keep it from rolling back. Viola, easy access to the plugs. When you're done, put your foot on the brake and then release the parking brake. Slowly let off the brake to avoid having the engine slam back against the firewall, and then reconnect the dogbones. You may need to rock the car a bit to get the bolts back in, but it shouldnt require much.

When I come to a complete stop in my car, such as at a stop light, my car jerks forward, since my foot is on the brake it cant really do anything except **** in place. I also notice that on my RPM dial,...

Most cars rev on idle at around about 600 RPM and
750RPM and thats when you stop it stays at that rpm rate But if as you say yours trys to move then your problem is trying to still drive and not brake contact as what happens when you get at a stop lights etc the gear box should brake band stop which is like running free or in a manaul pushing in the clutch so your problem is in the GEARBOX..

This might actually be a software issue in the car. It can be taken care of at the dealer with re-programming. Its best to leave it for a few days because drivability concerns such as these can be the hardest to pin point. Best of luck and please let me know if anything changes.
