My car begins to stall out and lose power when I Acellerate or head up hill. Almost as though it were choking. It' s not the fuel filter or plugs. Whats the problem?

Thanks for the advice. As it turns out, it might be the plugs. I think my (old) mechanic might not have changed the back plugs like he was supposed to.

It could be that you have clogged catalytic converter you can remove the 02 sensor then drive it and see if its better if so the cat is plugged this may throw code that you may have to get erase after you check this hope this helps

Sounds like you may have a wire heating up and grounding out or a wire loosing contact.

Losing power/acceleration on hills

Change or clean the EGR valve and install a new catalytic converter.
This should take care of the problem.
