There should be a diagram on the fuse box cover give these websites a try and you can also try if all fails stop by your local Ford dealership in the parts department and they be able to print off the pictures and diagrams you will need wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

I have a 2000 cl500 and the power went out on the drivers side all of a sudden, the driver and left passenger window, driver seat and mirror, heated seat etc. What component could of went out to cause this...

This is something I have experienced and may or may not be your problem. The wiring harness under the seat is cut and exposed from moving the seat back and forth. It is now hitting ground and blew the fuse. You have to find the bare wire and wrap it with electrical tape, then replace the blown fuse. Most of the time, I had to remove the seat to find it. If you change the fuse without wrapping the wire, the first time you move the seat, the fuse will blow.

Had the battery changed in 2007 nissan murano and now the chimes don't ring and the drivers doesn't automatically move back when opening the drivers door. How do I reset these?:

Disconnecting the battery erases stored memory, after you connect the battery put the key in the ignition cylinder and turn the driver door switch on(open) and off (closed), on (open),the entry, exist function then becomes complete, and the return operation can be operated,

My 2001 Olds Bravada 2wd, non-heated seats has the manual for a 2000 model. The power seats don't work & I can't find a fuse any where. Help please.

There is no fuse for the power seat's , has a circuit breaker ! Does your olds have memory seat's or just plain power seats ? If it has memory seats it has an electronic control module that comes into play . Don't think going after the circuit breaker would do any good , they seldom go out . But you never know ! You will find the power seat circuit breaker located here Relay Block - Body
Left side of the dash, to the right of the I/P fuse block.

You should test for B+ voltage at the seat switches , If none work your way back to the power source .

2005 ford 500 seat won't go forward, but will go up and down and lean back don't have manual to check right fuse.

I don't know for sure about the Ford 500 but in general the manufacturers don't have a lot of room for extra fuses and wires so probably only one fuse goes to the seat or seats. I would find the fuse box and hopefully the fuses are all labeled.

I assume the seat at one time went forward and backward. What can stop it from doing this is something like a rock getting in the gear and stopping the motor from moving or maybe just dying on its own. It could instead be a wire or connector.

I hope this helps.

I need a car fuse panel diagram for a 1998 Lincoln town car the drivers seat only goes up and I believe it may be a blown fuse.

If the motor is moving I doubt you have a fuse problem because if it moves that means you are at least getting power to the motor that moves the seat. I went on and gave you fuse panel diagrams and descriptions for both fuse panels on your vehicle. this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not and would like a copy, email me at with your make, model and year and i will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry no cost. I hope this helps and good luck.

Driver seat wont move up or back and it was working a day or so ago but can not find what relay fuse # i should change.

Hi, your driver's seat is operated by a seat module computer, not just a fuse/relay, you can however check the fuses for this module, they are located in passenger footwell(right kickpanel) behind cover. Locations 3 and 109 (7.5amp and 30amp).mechxd_7.gif

Driver`s seat does not work, where to find the fuse compartment?

If you have the owners manual, you can find what you are looking for under fuse panels in the appendix, It will show you where the fuse panel is located, and where you can find the fuse in it. If you don't have a manual, you can probably find it at simply put in your vehicle info in,under the repair guide section. you also may want to check the connector under the seat, its possible someone may have accidently disconnected it with a foot, or something that was under the seat. inspect the harness for damage, it may have been pinched while moving the seat.If you have more than one power seat, and the others are functioning,it is likely to be the seat control switch, wiring harness,or motor. there also may be something wedged in the mechanisms that move the seat.more than likely your fuse panel will be under the dash, on the drivers side,or in the end of the dashboard, visisble when the door is open on the drivers side. hope this helps!

2000 Blazer power seats

i dont thing there is something to do with the power seats when you blew an engine, plus the power locks too.

im thingking, when you put the engine, a lot of wires and fuse boxes are in the engine compartment, you could probably disconnect some wire that are on the way on changing the engine and forgot to put the wires back together.

that is the only thing i could think of..

i hope i answered your questions...

pls rate me...
