Trying to locate ABS relay on 97 GMC Jimmy - Jimmy GMC Cars & Trucks

Excluding drl and fog lamps, there is no relay. The voltage to headlamp switch, hot all the time, I didn't check for fusible links? The voltage from headlamp switch goes to dimmer switch then to headlamps, at the headlamps check voltage and ground. My info showed sealed beam or quad lamps, I didn't look at both.

check the fuse box under the hood in the engine compartment

Starter relay is in the middle of the firewall near the top of the firewall. I would check connections and /or replace that relay. They are very inexpensive.
Also, you could turn the key on and run a jumper wire from power to the starter solenoid and see if it starts. You can easily get to the solenoid though the right wheel well. Be careful not to ground the wire by mistake.

No breaker. Inside the under hood fuse and relay box there is a relay and fuse. You need to take it to a shop and have them scan for the reason why the light is on. That way you don't throw parts at it until one of them fixes it.

In the glovebox are multiple relays.One of which is the fuelpump relay. They are all the same you can swap one for the other. There is a fuse panel on outside of the driver side of dash towards the door. It has a panel that can be removed. On the inside of panel cover is a sticker,it shows the fuse locations by number.

The ABS relay is PART of the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) which is the ABS Computer. It is located on the drivers side inner fender well, underhood.

Relay - Fuel Pump 1991 GMC Truck S15 Jimmy 2WD 4.3L TBI 6cyl The Relay - Fuel Pump Under hood, driver side, upper firewall, mounted in relay block

Fuel pump relay is in your gluve box. I belive there are three relay's there and it could be the middle one. Getting old memory bad LOL.

The main relay switch is on the fuel pump itself/ There are others in the engine compartment and under the dash or side of dash panel
