Question about 1995 Volvo 850
It could be the wire is freyed inside the cover, or it could have even sliped off the throttal housing it might be just a case of slipping it back over, try a bit of wd40 arround the area of the cable inside the engine bay if it has freyed and will not budge, it is a bit awkward to do but it is a doable thing for a diy novice...hope that helps
