Variable wiper delay not working in Jeeps? The problem is the module velcro-ed under the dash, driver side. You can replace or fix. The problem is a capacitor on the board, 22uf in my case. Replace and all good.

My windshield wipers won't work in the delay speeds, they only work in high or low mode and when I turn them off they just stop moving instead of returning to their rest position.

Likely the delay module needs to be replaced, If i remember correctly, yours should be located behind the kick panel on the drivers side. Most I've seen are actually labeled so it's not difficult to find.

The delay does not work on my Jeep it only has high and low, is it a fuse?

Hello Jesse.
I am going to assume you are speaking of your delay wipers.
On your Jeep there is a delay module in the wiper wiring harness.
These will often go open circuit and create the problem you are experiencing.
Yours is mounted in or near the left kick panel.
Easy to replace, disconnect and reconnect 2 plugs, one on each end that have 6 wires. A black box about 5 inches long, flat and rectangular.
Back then they used a General Motors delay module and I have replaced ones like yours from GM pickups of those years.
This may help if Jeep wants more for their module than GM.
If you have any more questions please leave them in "add comments" and I will check back.
Best of the season to you.

Delay wipers don't work.

Try making sure the connection is good.
If it is then you should try replacing the wiper switch.
