I have a 1997 Hyundai Sonata, mine was located behind the rear drivers side tire; between the rear drivers side tire, and the rear bumper, lay under the rear bumper on that side and it might be there, it was for me... My bracket rusted out and made the canister drag on the ground, oops! but I hope this helps!

06 Hyundai Elantra two codes one is a p0441 purge fault code and other is evap large leak I can't figure out how to pass do i need to replace the purge valve

the large leak could be a loose tank cap
code p 0441 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) system--incorrect flow detected === causes ---hose /connection/s,-- intake leak--EVAP canister purge valve
probably need to replace the valve but test first for the large leak or cap loose fault as it may fix both

2000 hyundai elantra has a blown fuse. 20A con. What is the fuse for. Can't fill my gas tank keep stopping.

The fuel filling problem is usually a bad charcoal canister. They get saturated and are not able to breathe properly. ( ruined when people top off there tank) It could be other things maybe a stuck vent valve but that should set a check engine light. As far as the fuse goes, replace it with the correct amperage fuse. If it blows again that circuit will need to be checked for short or over load. (Possible someone added aftermarket device to circuit drawing the circuit over the 20 amps its designed for.)

HAVE VECHICLE SCANNED FOR FAULTY EVAP CANISTER PURGE VALVE IT NOT CONTROLLING EXCESS FUEL VAPORS..THAT WILL CAUSE LOT OF FUEL CONSUMPTION.

Hello, I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra with error codes of P2626 and B1448. What do these mean and how do i fix them? Thanks Brad

P2626. 1. At the Air/Fuel Ratio
P1448: EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve Open
I don't recall a B for any codes, but with this info. it sounds like a vacuum leak at the Canister

2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Check engine light, code PO133

Did you use a aftermarket O2 sensor or a genuine Hyundai one? If it's an aftermarket one it may be bad or not as good as the OEM one. See here for more details and other potential causes: P0133

I have a hyundai elantra 2000 have a code po442 and gasing up it act like it full so what the problem also it has over 120,000 miles on it

Hello! The 2000 Hyundia line has a common fault in the design of their evaporator system; The handling of fuel fumes. If, at any time, you may have overfilled the gas tank, gas will saturate the charcoal canister. This causes small pieces of charcoal to circulate within the evaporation control system, clogging it up, not allowing the gas tank to be filled. Does your Elantra have trouble accelerating, run rough, or stall? Probably so. Take the car to someone you trust and have them flush the evaporator system with the canister removed. You will more than likely need a new canister.

2000 elantra po455 code evap emission control system leak detected (gross leak) Any suggestions ?

Large leak?... Fuel Cap not tight or the wrong one is installed. Also, the charcoal canister close valve may be stuck 'open' AND/OR the purge control solenoid valve may be stuck 'closed.'

Fuel leak from evap canister

if you continually overfill the gas tank by trying to top off after the pump clicks off you will get raw fuel into the canister. if that is the case you will need to replace the evap canister and filter.
