98 caddy deville nothstar v8 how to replace heater coil have no heat and I'm loosing water somewhere

the heater core in a 1998 Cadillac is very tricky to replace.
start with getting a pressure test to determine where the exact location of the leak is, it may not be the heater core.
if you do decide to pull the dash apart to change the core make sure the battery is disconnected for at least an hour to allow the airbag system to discharge.

How difficult is it to replace the connections to the heater hoses? They broke off trying to disconnect the hoses from the firewall.

Do you mean the pipes that come through the fire wall broke off? Those are part of the heating core. You must replace the heating core.

I just replaced the pulley on my 1997 cadilic deville and now my car is overheating and i have no heat/

Sounds very much like like a water pump or pump belt problem. If there is no coolant circulating (indicated by the overheating), you will have none passing through the heater core of the car.

Coolant is leaking into the passenger side of car interior 1997 DeVille happens when AC is turned on,it is not overheating it is not leaking from anywhere visible under the hood

i bet it is your heater coil located under the dash of the car. when it gets cold if its not fixed it will fog up your windows.
