No its too thick for the injection system .

You may need to consider having an engine overhaul with new piston rings and a turbo

I have a 1994 Isuzu Trooper and since the service the car refuses to start from cold. When you start the engine over, the car will start but the rev's won't go over @ 1000 rev's for around 5 minutes...

Who performed your last service? If it was fine before, and now it's acting up, then maybe there is a loose electric connector or vacuum line when everything was being buttoned up.
Please let me know if I may further assist you. -TXTEXAN

What type of oil do i need for a 1996 isuzu trooper?

If you're talking about engine oil, most cars/trucks use 5w30 or 10w30. Make sure to use a decent quality oil, check the codes on the container. Some vehicles with turbos require a specific grade.

I have a 1998 isuza Trooper with 207,000 miles what kind of oil should i use.

at 207k miles I would not change anything. Just keep on doing what you have been doing and you should be ok. Changing things up now may cause you trouble and is not recommended. And congratulations on the 200k mile mark. Not many people care for their vehicle enough to get 200k+ miles out of it, GOOD JOB

Don't start after oil change

I HAVE A TROOPER 3.O L THE SAME AS YOU AND I KNOW THAT WHEN CHANGING OIL YOU MUST USE 5-30 OR 5-40 FOR THIS ENGINE REASON BEING IS THAT THE OTHER GRADE DOESNT CREATE THE SAME OIL PRESSURE AND IF THE OIL PRESSURE IS NOT CORRECT THESE ENGINES WILL NOT RUN BEEN THERE DONE THAT

Loud clicking from engine

Classic Trooper problem. You can get a lot of quiet(er) troublefree miles out of your Trooper with religious, regular oil changes. Isuzu is now advising the use of Mobil 1 0w30 synthetic motor oil, changed at 5000 mi intervals to quiet the lifter tapping that you're experiencing. If you're a DIYer, you can pick up 5qt jugs of this oil at Walmart for $23-$26. -Or, you can buy the basic oil change and provide your own Mobil 1 0w30 to the tech to keep the costs down.

It'll take 150-300 miles for the noise to settle down after the fresh oil change. Keep a close eye on your oil dipstick. As soon as you're coming close to a quart low, top it back up. The 3.2l motor will start tapping again when the oil level drops or is near the time to change. Forget the advice about the belt tensioner needing to be replaced. That is rarely the source of the noise. I have two Troopers, Christophe. They're the ones that aren't tapping like crazy at the traffic light. Enjoy your Troop. -Geoff

Changed oil and fuel filters on 4jx1, will not start but cranks

You must use 5/30 fully synth oil and i guess if you did that and still wont go its going to be air so pump away a bit longer on the primer .Should be some pressure there when its ready to go .

Excessive Oil consumption, 2001 Isuzu Trooper, V-6, 94,000 miles

600 perquart miles is a piston ring sealing issue, U don't say the miles on the car, but it is rings.
