Most car factory auto batteries are on borrowed time after 4-5 years. If you are in that realm, don't feel bad. Take it to your auto parts such as Auto Zone. They will test it for free, and sell you a new one if you want one.

I like the Duralast Gold line, and have had good luck there.

Resetting my Dodge Durango 2004 radio after installing now battery I get no volume

Replacing the battery in your Durango involves removing the terminals. When you reconnect the terminals, your radio presets are likely to be cleared out. In some Durangos, you may need to re-enter a security code to get your radio to work again. Check for this code in your owners manual - it will usually be either a sticker or small card in the booklet. If you can't find it, call Dodge and they will give you the code for free. In many Dodges, the transmission "learns" how you drive over time and makes adjustments, so you may experience altered driving dynamics as your car re-learns your driving style after changing the battery.

What kind of battery does a 2004 dodge durango key need?

It's a standard watch battery. Go to Wal-Mart and they'll let you borrow their watch screwdriver and they'll sell you the correct battery then as well.

2003 dodge durango no headlights,no wipers ,no door locks no parking lights all fuses good

Outkastroost, I had the same problem last year with my '03 Durango. It happened shortly after we installed a new stereo. The solution was to disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 30 seconds to reset the computer. It's been working fine for a year now after that. I hope this works for you, too.

replace the battery, on a dodge when battery is weak the idle air control solenoid tries to search for the right position. and will keep stalling sometimes wont stay running.
